Jason served 10 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps. He served as a Reconnaissance Marine. He graduated Scout Sniper School, Combatant Dive School, and Airborne School, to name a few. Jason was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He earned a Combat Action Ribbon, two Navy Achievement Medals, and an honorable discharge.
Jason served as a Virginia Beach Police Officer for over a decade. Most of his time was served on the Full Time VBPD S.W.A.T. Team. Jason was an Explosive Breacher, Weapons Specialist, and Firearms Instructor.
Jason served with the Central Intelligence Agency as a member of GRS (Global Response Staff).
Jason is a tactical advisor to the Deadwood Police Department's Community Events Response Team (C.E.R.T).
Jason is a professional motorcycle technician and bike builder. Jason & Charlie together own Deadwood Custom Cycles, a local small business that has 7 full time employees and provides locals and visitors to the Black Hills with a full service motorcycle shop.
